One Voice, One Nation

One Voice, One Nation

Hausa, Igbo, Yoruba too,

Different tongues, yet hearts are true.

We sing, we dance, we laugh, we play,

Together bright as a brand-new day.

Our hands are joined, our dreams are shared,

In every school, in every square.

No tribe above, no tribe below,

In unity, our spirits grow.

Through stories old and songs we know,

We learn respect and let love show.

The colors blend, the voices rise,

One melody beneath our skies.

Let voices speak, let hearts be kind,

Let peace and joy in all mankind.

We share our meals, our hopes, our tears,

Together strong through coming years.

Hausa drums and Igbo songs,

Yoruba chants that lift us strong.

Different roots, one common ground,

In every smile, our bonds are found.

So hear us now, the young, the free,

One nation’s voice, in harmony.

For change begins when we stand near,

One nation strong, one vision clear.
