With an impressive score of 150 points, Praise’s entry titled “What the Orphans Taught Me” stood out among several outstanding submissions reviewed by our editorial team.
Her piece beautifully captured the essence of our September theme, “Lessons Beyond the Classroom.”
Through a heartfelt narrative, Praise reminds us that some of life’s most profound lessons are not taught by teachers or found in textbooks; they are learned through empathy, human connection, and shared experiences.
For her outstanding creativity and depth of expression, Praise has been awarded a cash prize of ₦10,000 and crowned Schoolers Pen’s Writer of the Month (September 2025 Edition).
